 Olga V. Semenova
was graduated from Gomel State University in 2001.
In 2004, she got PhD degree in Belarusian State University in Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics and works currently as scientific researcher of Research Laboratory of Applied
Probabilistic Analysis in Belarusian State University. In 2005-2007 she
had INTAS grant for post-doctoral research. In 2006 and 2007 she visited
Kent University, Centerbery, UK for research work. In 2005-2007 she collaborated with Institute of Information Transmission Problems of Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow).
Her main fields of interests are queueing models with disasters, controlled queueing models, queueing models with pooling.
She has research papers published in "Journal of Applied Probability", "RAIRO Operations Research",
"Automation and Remote Control", "Automatic Control and Computer Science", "System Research and Information Technologies",
"Quality Technology and Quantitative Management".
